THE BOXER LACKS PUNCH

The Ravens SS Tom Zbikowski is rather stealth these days on the football field and when he does show up, it’s for all the wrong reasons. He hasn’t made an impactful play in either of his two starts this season and it might be time to give Haruki Nakamura and/or Bernard Pollard some of his snaps. There has to be some disconnect between the front office and the coaching staff when it comes to Pollard, a player whose paycheck is far north of his playing time.

As for Nakamura, he’s a far better cover safety than Zibby and from what we’ve seen lately a better tackler too. Add it up and it spells “Knocked Out” of a starting job.

At least that’s the way I see it…

It's not "disconnect" with Pollard, TL; it probably has more to do with Harbaugh's idiosyncrasies as in his now infamous, "dog house"! Just a hunch, but he probably did something that rubbed the coach the wrong way.......

Hey TL,
I was thinking the exact same thing on Sun - I cannot understand his lack of PT, especially in a game where it seemed obvious that the Ravens need an emotional lift and a big hit from BP might have provided one! Also, why are they trying to make a pass-catching threat out of Vonte? Did he appear to be in fewer battering-ram situations than v the steelers? Are my eyes deceiving me or did I see less of PernellMac? Why do these coaching/front offices "disconnects" consistently occur?!?
